Happy Easter!
Today was a lovely, family orientated day!
Auntie Em, Uncle Jordan and Maddy Jo came over to celebrate Easter Sunday with us. The kids had an Easter egg hunt and exchanged gifts. Jackie and Stephen were visiting his Mom and Dad in England, so we face-timed with them for a little bit. The weather was SO beautiful and hot out, so we all spent the entire day in the garden. The kids played outside and all us adults sat, chatted and relaxed. Gwen cooked the most delicious meal - roast pork, vegetables, gratin potatoes, yorkshire puddings (here they call them pop-overs) and gravy and then we had chocolate cake and / or apple pie for dessert. YUM YUM YUM! Gwen always cooks the most amazing and delicious food!!
It was so nice to spend family time together.
I am so lucky to have such an amazing and special (host) family, and extended (host) family too. I really am part of the entire family.
